Yazdan Saadi

Yazdan Saadi(1974) is an Iranian artist born in Tehran, where he still lives and works. Saadi

uses different mediums such as graphic design, illustration and painting.

His main idea is based on the combination of elements from Persian mythology and poetry

with the social and political elements of Iran today.

He had two different solo exhibitions between 2017 and 2018 in Teheran where he used

Iranian newspapers (Iran & Teheran Times) on which he painted Persian epic scenes.

For his last solo exhibition (2019), he painted mythology scenes personalized by his

imagination on sheets with poems by Hafez, the famous Iranian poet from the 14 th century.
